The RLWC2021 is coming to Bolton
Bolton will host the Men’s England v France at the University of Bolton Stadium, Saturday 22 October.
The Rugby League World Cup is one of the longest running tournaments of its kind in world sport, with England reaching the final the last time the competition was held in 2017. This year’s event was rescheduled from its original 2021 dates due to the outbreak of Covid-19 and runs from 15 October-19 November.
Neil Hart, Chief Executive Officer of Bolton Wanderers said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming the long-awaited Rugby League World Cup to Bolton and to our iconic home of the Wanderers."
“Working closely with Bolton Council and with the Rugby League World Cup team, we are committed to delivering a high-quality event for both Bolton and the global audience to enjoy.”
