I am one of the Community Champions that covers all area of Bolton and include Horwich and Westhoughton. I live in Horwich for the last 9 years and I cover Wellbeing, Mental Health, Digital, Age and more. I also a Director from the Darren Deady Foundation based in Westhoughton but cover all areas of Bolton who help the armed forces veterans and the vulnerable and this is were my expertise to be a Champion comes from. One of my aims is to change the people of Bolton's negative impact to a more positive one. To help families understand Vaccinations like the MMR, since it's introduction back in the 80's where people opinion was to think he could harm there children. My kids were born in the 80's and after talking to the midwife about the MMR injection, as parents we allowed them wo have it and now they are a lot older and nothing went wrong. I will be promoting events etc that is going on with Bolton Community Champions as and when it gets released.
