Community Champion for Queens Park and Central, Farnworth South, Great Lever, Farnworth North
Hi, I already work in the Community being a litter picker and also, doing local green areas up (Farnworth North litter picking group). I have a good knowledge of Council and Bolton at home, contacts and a store of grabbers and green bags. As a member of "Bolton Green Umbrella"
Also, have a fb group: "Recipes from the pantry". I am a volunteer at New Bury Ucan, where I go on Thursday morning whilst the food bank active. I and Champa a friend cook one of the recipes posted on the site suitable for people to make with ingredients from their food parcels. They can taste what we have made and take a printed out recipe home with them. But they can always ask us any questions.
I have good networking skills and always open to learn more. Ha, always being called an unpaid Councillor.
I recently stood up at Full Council with a 3000 + Petition for Super Health Centre for Farnworth. Full council all voted FOR the motion. Its now ongoing with Health.
